Pool Table Moving
Quoted around the cellar stair, not the mileage.
Off in order, back on in reverse: cloth, pockets, rails, bed sections, then frame and legs, wrapped as each leaves. Slate travels upright and strapped; rails travel wrapped.
On a narrow cellar stair the sections go down at an angle worked out before anything is lifted, with one person below and one above on every piece. It is slower than carrying flat, and it is why nothing ends up scraped along a stone wall.
Pricing for a home to home move
The move, and the cloth if you want it done at the same time.
- We do not charge extra for stairs on a three piece slate table.
- We will not move one piece slate tables up or down stairs.
- Seven, eight and nine foot tables, in Saint Louis and across the river.
- Add Simonis 760 or 860 felt during the move, $295.
- There is a $30 fee for any job that starts after 5 pm, on a Saturday, or on a Sunday.
A picture of the table and one looking down the cellar stair will sharpen the number more than any description.
What finished looks like
We here at Saint Louis Pool Table Movers guarantee all of our work. If you use our services and feel that we did something incorrectly, or that your table is becoming unlevel, we will come back out to fix the issue. This is good for six months after your service is completed.
Our normal appointment times are at 8 or 9 am and 1 or 2 pm. There is an additional $30 fee for any job that starts after 5 pm, on a Saturday, or on a Sunday. There is an additional cost of $30 if we need to carry the table up stairs on an installation. On a home to home move we do not charge extra for stairs on a three piece slate table, and we will not move one piece slate tables up or down stairs.
