Pool Table Installation
Assembly, shimming and cloth, for a table that is staying where it is.
An installation here is often a table that made it down the cellar stair years ago and has never been properly set from that day on.
Frame up and squared, bed bolted, seams filled and worked flat, cloth on, level set. A cellar floor laid in stages across a century reads differently from one side to the other, so the packing takes longer here and gets rechecked more often than it would on a modern slab.

What gets done, in order.
- Frame and legs, squared, clear of stone walls, posts and the furnace run.
- Slate bolted, seams filled and worked flat until a ball runs over them silently.
- Cloth stretched on the bed and fitted to the rails, pockets refitted.
- Rails back on, rubber inspected while accessible.
- Stairs on an installation add $30.
One piece slates go up or down stairs only under certain conditions and for an extra charge.
What finished looks like
We here at Saint Louis Pool Table Movers guarantee all of our work. If you use our services and feel that we did something incorrectly, or that your table is becoming unlevel, we will come back out to fix the issue. This is good for six months after your service is completed.
Our normal appointment times are at 8 or 9 am and 1 or 2 pm. There is an additional $30 fee for any job that starts after 5 pm, on a Saturday, or on a Sunday. There is an additional cost of $30 if we need to carry the table up stairs on an installation. On a home to home move we do not charge extra for stairs on a three piece slate table, and we will not move one piece slate tables up or down stairs.
